The first day at home is definitely a breeze for Ethan's Mom and Dad :D First of all, he sleeps most of the time, but would wake up right on time every three hourly for his feeding. After feeding, he'd go back to sleep right away without us having to carry or rock him. He feeds for at most 10 minutes, then he'd sleep. When this happened, it is difficult to wake him up so he could continue feeding. Not sure whether I have sufficient milk or he's just too sleepy. I plan to feed him formula once at night to help him clear his jaundice. Not sure whether this works though.
In the morning, I woke him up for sunbathing & water bath. Then, we learned something new about him :) He doesn't like being naked, or even, when his swaddle is opened. He doesn't like bath time either. It is totally the opposite of his brother :D After bath time and being swaddled securely, he'd be calm again.
Overall, he is an much easier baby to take care and we are so grateful to God for this.
